The Power of Female Friendships
Inforum welcomes Kayleen Schaefer, the New York-based author of Text Me When You Get Home, speaking on the power of female friendship.
She will be joined on stage by two other powerful voices on this topic: Sylvia Acevedo, CEO of Girls Scouts of the USA, and Janice Cosby, Chief Communications & Marketing Officer, Ascension Michigan. This panel discussion will be moderated by Rhonda Walker, co-anchor at WDIV- Local 4 News.
Schaefer interviewed more than 100 women from across the country to develop a robust cross-section of experiences representative of women’s lives today. Those interviews demonstrate that female friendships are more empowering than ever before and give insight into their importance.
Her research combined with Acevedo’s and Cosby’s experiences will provide essential lessons for men and women to further their relationships in their careers and personal lives.
